Gyorge Gromov
A stylistically diverse and versatile artist, George Gromov has been praised by critics for the depth, passion and sincerity of his interpretations. He has performed, both as a soloist and a prize-winning conductor, in major concert halls in Russia, Italy, Norway, Germany, France, Spain, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland as well as across Asia.
Until recently, George Gromov taught at the Gnessins’ State Music College in Moscow. He is now regularly invited to give master classes in Russia and Europe and to serve as a jury member at international competitions in Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, Mexico and France.
Gromov has worked with the „Novaya Rossiya“ Orchestra under Yuri Bashmet, with the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra under Saulius Sondeckis, with the Zurich Chamber Orchestra, KBS Symphony and many others. He performs at the most important music festivals, including Verbier Festival and Klassik Festival Ruhr.
