\nHe has performed in recital and with orchestra all over the world and collaborated with conductors such as Chailly, Gatti, Macal, Chung, Schippers, Salonen, Slatkin and many others.<\/span>
\nHe has a vast and varied repertoire including over 70 concerti with orchestra and solo works ranging from Bach to Boulez, and from the complete Sonatas of Beethoven to rare works of the late 19th century. He has also made many recordings for companies including DG, RCA, Music & Arts, and Agora.<\/span>
\nDr. Swann is also an internationally renowned Wagner scholar.<\/span>
\nHe regularly lectures, illustrating from the piano, in Bayreuth and throughout the USA. He has published articles on Wagner for Oxford University Press and his book on the music of the Ring is currently in publication.<\/span>
\nJeffrey Swann studied in Dallas, Texas with Alexander Uninsky and then at the Juilliard School, where he received his Bachelors, Masters, and Doctorate degrees, with Beveridge Webster and Adele Marcus.<\/span>
\nDr. Swann is currently Professor of Piano at New York University. He was previously Artistic Director of the Festival Dino Ciani in Cortina d’Ampezzo, as well as at the Scuola Normale of Pisa.<\/span><\/p>\n
