For many years, Riccardo Risaliti has actively pursued a career as concert performer, teacher, researcher into the performance and history of the piano, critic, and editor of piano scores. \nBorn in Tuscany, he completed his studies at the Florence Conservatory under the guidance of Rio Nardi and Luigi Dallapiccola, after which he attended master classes with Carlo Zecchi and Nikita Magaloff. After a period of intense piano work at the Florence Conservatory, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, and the Chigiana Academy of Siena, and as a music critic for numerous publications, he dedicated his time to concerts and teaching. He gave masterclasses for the Mozarteum of Salzburg, the Festival delle Nazioni of Citt\u00e0 di Castello and in many Italian conservatories.<\/span>
\nHe held a professorship at the Pesaro Conservatory, followed by thirty years at the Milan Conservatory.<\/span>
\nHe has been a teacher at the International Piano Academy of Imola since its founding. He holds masterclasses and seminars (at many Italian conservatories, at the Festival delle Nazioni in Citt\u00e0 di Castello, at the Salzburg Mozarteum, etc.) and is often invited to act as jury member at international piano competitions.<\/span><\/p>\n
